Man City kicked off Gameweek 17 with a 3-1 win over Everton, as Jesus scored his first 2 goals since Gameweek 2, while Leroy Sane carried on his very good form with 2 assists, taking his tally to 9 for the season.
The late game on Saturday saw West Ham travel to Fulham, beating them 2-0 with goals from Snodgrass and Antonio. Felipe Anderson is a player every FPL boss should be trying to get in their team after his 3rd assist of the season to go with his 6 goals. With the easy run West Ham have at the moment, it is a great time to pick up some points.
Sunday saw plenty of goals, but the big game come at Anfield where Liverpool carried on their unbeaten run with a 3-1 win over Manchester United, courtesy of goals from Mane and Shaqiri (2).
Moving onto Gameweek 18, there is definitely a chance of the big players pocking up points. Liverpool travel to Wolves, Chelsea host Leicester and Arsenal are at home to Burnley. It is a good chance for those who still have their ‘Triple Captain’ to use to think about using it.
Also remember, if you have not used your wildcard yet and want to make fundamental changes to your squad, you have until before 29th December until it runs out and is started again for the second half the season.
