Two gameweeks have passed since my last update as the busy Christmas schedule has started. Gameweek 14 started with a great win for Cardiff over Wolves, however struggling sides Fulham, Huddersfield and Burnley did not pick up points.
At the top of the table, Manchester City and Liverpool both kept up their unbeaten runs. Raheem Sterling has gone to the top of the points list in FPL with 104 points after his goal on Saturday, however Pep Guardiola contines to frustrate FPL managers with his team changes as Sterling was dropped to the bench and replaced by Riyad Mahrez, who scored the winner in their 2-1 win over Watford.
Sunday saw 2 big derbies take place, with Arsenal beating Spurs 4-2, with Aubameyang scoring twice and bagging an assist to keep up his incredible points haul so far. Liverpool beat Everton 1-0 in the 96th minute after a howler from Jordan Pickford that saw Divock Origi pick up his first goal of the season.
Moving onto Gameweek 16, the feature game of the weekend will be Manchester City’s visit to West London to face Chelsea. Can Hazard and co inflict the first loss on the Manchester side this season?
