This weekend saw the return of the Premier League, but more importantly Fantasy Football. With Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea all winning on the opening weekend, there were plenty of opportunities to pick up early fantasy points.
It was a busy week for Calum Wilson of Bournemouth, who scored, bagged an assist but also missed a penalty. We also saw a great debut for for 20 year old Aaron Wan-Bissaka of Crystal Palace, who has become an instant favourite for the Fantasy Football fans as he picked up an assist in a 2-0 win over newly promoted Fulham. This was a blessing in disguise for one of the teams who currently resides at the top of the Logistics Manager league, Fourth Lanark, as the Crystal Palace youngster was an automatic substitution for Chris Smalling, who did not feature in Man Utd’s victory over Leicester.
Looking forward to Gameweek 2, there are more opportunities for points for the top teams, as Spurs face Fulham, Man Utd visit Brighton and Man City face Huddersfield. However, big team news that could affect a lot of your transfer business this week is that Man City star man Kevin De Bruyne could be out for up to 4 months. Could young Phil Foden be the man to replace him on the pitch as well as in your teams?
