Gameweek 3 saw some big results and big moments in games that shaped this week’s matches. The early kick off saw Wolves hold champions Man City to a 1-1 draw.
After his heroics last week, Sergio Aguero did not pick up a goal or an assist. Arsenal finally got their first win of the season against bottom of the table West Ham, who are yet to register a point.
There were 2 red cards in the game between Bournemouth and Everton, with Richarlison sent off for a headbutt. Over 2 million Fantasy managers picked up -2 points and he is now banned for 3 games.
Another good week for defender Marcus Alonso, who created 2 goals in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Newcastle. Defender DeAndre Yedlin bagged an assist but also an own goal. One player fantasy managers will be considering selecting is Aleksandar Mitrovic, who scored 2 goals as Fulham ran out 4-2 winners over Burnley, taking Mitrovic to 3 goals for the season.
The biggest game of the weekend came on Monday night, as we saw Tottenham beat Man Utd 3-0 at Old Trafford. Lucas Moura with 2 of the goals, and Harry Kane adding the other to double his tally in August.
Looking forward to Gameweek 4, can Man Utd pick up their form as they are at Turf Moor to play Burnley, can Man City get back to winning ways against Newcastle, and can Liverpool and their front three of Salah, Firmino and Mane all keep up their early season form? The biggest question for over 2 million fantasy managers is who will replace Richarlison?
