Radio controlled helicopter company Fast Lad has chosen NetDespatch to provide its online order fulfilment processes by integrating the company’s online order data with selected carrier, Royal Mail.
NetDespatch will provide shipping labels, and notify the carrier that packages are ready to collect; alongside this it will update Fast Lad’s online billing account. Once packages have been collected, Fast Lad will be able to track delivery progress online.
Jamie Renwick, company director of Fast Lad, said: “Previously we had to manually transfer order details which was cumbersome and a real burden on our time. We are very happy with the NetDespatch solution, and since it is offered as part of the Royal Mail service we did not have to pay anything extra for the solution.”
Radio control helicopter enthusiasts Jamie Renwick and Chris Walton founded Fast Lad in 2006. The company imports stock from all over the world, including model helicopter kits, parts, engines, radios and accessories.
