Delivery service provider Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) has opened a new sorting facility in Vilnius.
The new facility will seek to provide businesses with improved cross-border e-commerce capabilities and streamlined logistics operations.
The facility has a total area of 3,700m² (c. 12,100 ft²), encompassing a 2,500m² (c. 8,200ft²) warehouse and an office space of approximately 1,200m² (c. 3,900ft²).
Equipped with an advanced sorting system, the facility features three docks for line-haul trucks, three van-truck docks (including one ground-level access), and 40 dedicated courier van docking docks.
