Online beauty retailer Feelunique is to open a logistics hub in Hong Kong in partnership up SEKO Logistics to serve its expanding mainland China customer base.
China currently accounts for 20 per cent of Feelunique annual sales after launching its dedicated China web site three years ago.
With orders being shipped from the UK, the new distribution centre in Hong Kong will provide enhanced customer convenience, access to a wider choice of products and lower shipping thresholds.
The business will be able to “compete on a different scale in this market by making Feelunique accessible to a much larger potential customer base in China,” said Feelunique’s chief executive Joel Palix.
SEKO Logistics COO Asia Tony Barnes said: “We look forward to working with them to take this to the next level and grow our businesses together in the region.”
