Narrow Aisle, the manufacturer of Flexi articulated forklifts, is donating copies of the recently launched board game ‘Business On The Move’ to local primary schools as a way of encouraging children to learn more about the role that logistics plays in their day-to-day lives.
The game challenges students to run a business that must respond to customers’ orders, moving different products to their domestic market by combinations of air, sea, rail and road quickly, profitably and environmentally responsibly.
Joanne Wilson, Narrow Aisle’s sales operations manager, said: “The ‘Business On The Move’ game is an excellent way to learn about the modern commercial world and with a shortage of logistics professionals at all levels in this country we hope that some of the students who have enjoyed playing ‘Business On The Move’ will go on to consider logistics as a rewarding career path when they are older.”
