Ford has launched a commercial vehicle scrappage scheme offering £2,000 ex-vat on selected new models.
Any make of vehicle is eligible for the scheme provided it was registered on or before 31st December 2012, and it has been owned by the customer for 90 days or more before scrapping.
The scrappage saving can be used against the purchase of Ford commercial vehicles (excluding Transit Connect and Ranger Raptor).
Andy Barratt, managing director of Ford of Britain, said: “Our last Ford scrappage scheme saw 25,500 customers trade-in their older vehicles for Ford models equipped with our latest emissions and fuel-efficiency technologies, contributing to reducing CO2 and other emissions on UK roads. We expect our new Ford scrappage scheme that we’re launching on July 1 to also have a positive impact on the environment.”
