A scheme to develop 2.5 million sq ft of logistics and industrial space in Nottinghamshire has been given the go ahead.
The 200-acre scheme known as Harworth South Business Park is located on land south of the former Harworth Colliery at junction 34 of the A1M motorway.
Barton Willmore secured permission from Bassetlaw District Council. The company prepared the application on behalf of Howard (Retford), which is also funding the project.
As well as creating 3,500 jobs once complete, Harworth South will support 1,700 construction jobs and is expected to bring £600m to the local economy.
Land sales are available from 5 acres upwards with new builds available to buy or let from 50,000 – 1 million sq ft. Eaves height can go to 25m. Brown & Co is advising on the scheme.
