Baby product retailer Green Sheep Group has implemented a new warehouse management system (WMS) from SnapFulfil, which it claims has resulted in immediate stock accuracy and productivity improvements.
Rob Galbraith, Head of Operations at Green Sheep Group, said: “We already have much better visibility and a vast improvement with shipping accuracy. Being able to track our orders through the warehouse process fully is huge for us going forward”.
SnapFulfil’s flexible cloud-based WMS has integrated ‘seamlessly’ with Green Sheep’s existing retail operating system (ROS), Brightpearl, and has ‘advanced functionality that will optimise [Green Sheep’s] rapid expansion across an increasingly global retail support network, plus expanding D2C and B2B channels’.
The system was remotely implemented, something that it claims ‘saved Green Sheep valuable time, money, and resources’. The main goal of remote implementation is to provide clients with the ability to be agile, initiating the go-live process even while navigating challenging remote work requirements.
The SnapFulfil Remote Implementation (RI) programme allows the WMS ‘to be onboarded from anywhere in the world, while producing exactly the same positive results in adoption and use as traditional on-site engagement’. The average speed of this onboarding process in 30-60 days.
SnapFulfil clients like Green Sheep are given parts of the system bit by bit, allowing staff to practise and familiarise themselves with it ahead of undertaking digital training. Demonstrations that take place over Microsoft Teams can also be recorded to go back to at a later date.
In addition to the WMS, Green Sheep Group has purchased a SnapData Creator license, which gives staff access to real-time data analysis with the aim of maximising efficiency and minimising costs.
As Green Sheep Group plans to expand in Europe and the US, it can take advantage of SnapFulfil’s multi-site capabilities across a number of distribution centres worldwide.
SnapFulfil (Stand i704) will be at IntraLogisteX on 28-29 March 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. For more information, visit www.intralogistex.co.uk.
