Karen Leppard, Head of Sustainability & ESG at GXO, will be speaking at Logistics Manager’s ESG Industrial and Logistics Conference in London on 15 June 2023.
Leppard will lead a presentation on the topic of the green warehouse and whether or not it is beneficial to place ethical measures at the forefront of business strategy. It will cover the current trends within warehousing to tackle carbon levels and will assess the efficiency of ethical techniques such as rainwater harvesting and low-carbon heating that are being introduced.
Karen Leppard has over 10 years’ logistics experience in a variety of senior roles from Quality and Environmental Lead to Head of Sustainability and ESG. Sectors include chilled and ambient food and retail in both customer and internal facing roles.
She has an MSc in Supply Chain Leadership and Management with a dissertation focused on the relationship between suppliers and customers and their impacts on scope 3 emissions. She was appointed to her current role in October 2021.
The ESG Industrial and Logistics Conference is a one-day face-to-face event that will allow industrial and logistics property tenants to learn how they can leverage their property to help them with their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies.
Conference attendees will discover all of the latest industrial and logistics property ESG trends and insights. On top of hearing from industry leading experts, there will also be opportunity for attendees to expand their business network during networking breaks.
