Hermes is to open a “tech hub” is the centre of Leeds and recruit 50 permanent technology specialists, including senior developers and UX experts.
The office will also be the new home to the company’s Innovation Lab, which is charged with creating forward-thinking services and solutions designed to change the delivery landscape.
The 50 new recruits will be joined by a 20 colleagues who will relocate from the company’s headquarters in Morley, plus those from the Innovation Lab, who previously worked from a separate office space in Leeds.
CIO Chris Ashworth said: “At a time of economic uncertainty, we are committed to further investing in our future, and this vibrant office will play a key role in that.”
