DHL Global Forwarding, part of the air and ocean freight wing of Deutsche Post DHL Group has secured a new international ‘Secure Delivery’ contract with HM Passport Office.
The contract will run until 2028 and is part of an existing contract which started more than ten years ago.
DHL Global Forwarding also works with DHL Express to provide trackable delivery services overseas on behalf of HM Passport Office and the General Register Office (GRO), as well as for Emergency Travel Documents on behalf of the Foreign, Commonwealth, & Development Office (FCDO).

We have continuously strived to provide a first class service to HM Passport Office, GRO and FCDO and the millions of passport holders that we have safely handled documents for over the past 12 years,” said Alan Padbury, Regional Director for the South at DHL Global Forwarding.
Adding, Lord Murray, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Home Office said: “The safe delivery of passports and supporting documents is a key element of the service, and we look forward to continuing our work alongside DHL to meet the needs of British passport customers overseas.”
