Hörmann UK has completed work on the final phase of the 250,000 sq ft St Modwen Park Doncaster development.
The site comprises of three units, spanning 21,614 sq ft, 34,464 sq ft and 53,072 sq ft respectively and the installation included level access doors, loading bays, standard sized dock shelters and dock levellers.
The dock shelters are constructed from heavy duty galvanised steel and featuring collapsible scissor arm frames and rain drainage channels.
The 42mm thick insulated sectional loading bay doors also have a sensing motor to create a safety system that halts the door if it becomes obstructed in either direction.
The bays also include rayon reinforced dock bumpers, which are constructed from recycled tyre rubber with 15mm thick steel.
Mark Greasby, senior construction manager at St. Modwen Industrial & Logistics, said: “The completion of our final phase at St. Modwen Park Doncaster showcases our ability to bring forward much-needed industrial and logistics developments in key business locations, such as South Yorkshire.
“We are delighted to continue our business partnership with Hörmann UK in the delivery of these further units and look forward to welcoming further businesses to sit alongside the likes of DB Schenker, Robert Bosch and Thornhill Engineering.”
In June Hörmann UK completed the installation of loading bays and access doors as part of phase one of the development of St Modwen Park Gloucester and also signed a two year contract to provide nearly 1,000 loading bays to developer Panattoni.
