Birmingham-based property company Hortons’ Estate Ltd has acquired a vacant 207,000ft2 industrial unit at a commercial park near Derby in the East Midlands.
The property is located at Sinfin Commercial Park, a multi-let industrial and logistics estate situated two miles from Derby’s city centre.
The site is accessible via the A50 and M1 motorway and is also located near the Rolls-Royce Sinfin campus.
The vacant unit was previously occupied by UK cycling retailer Moore Large, and comprises office, production, showroom, storage and distribution facilities.
Jeremy Boothroyd, management surveyor, Hortons, said: “We are very pleased to have completed the strategic acquisition of this substantial industrial/warehouse unit.
“The deal not only reaffirms our commitment to Sinfin Commercial Park but gives us the opportunity to remodel parts of the estate that have significant potential. We look forward to adding a new tenant to what is already a strong list of established occupiers.”
The space is available for immediate occupation; Hortons has said it is now considering short-term flexible lease options.
Currently, the firm owns and manages 21 occupied warehouse units within the park, which it bought in 2023.
