IAG Cargo is expanding its capacity in the Middle East. From winter 2016, it will be separating its existing Abu Dhabi and Muscat service into two separate flights. It will also split its Bahrain and Doha service.
Muscat flights will operate five times a week, while the other three destinations will run a daily service.
Camilo Garcia, head of sales, at IAG Cargo said: “The additional capacity to Bahrain, Doha, Abu Dhabi and Muscat will be welcomed by our customers, offering them greater opportunity and flexibility to connect to over 350 destinations across our network.”
IAG said that its new services will generate 83 per cent additional capacity for the region. The B787-9 will service the Abu Dhabi route, while the Bahrain, Doha and Muscat routes will be serviced by a 777-200.
