IDI Gazeley, the development arm of Canadian owned property investor Brookfield, is to build a speculative warehouse in Bedford.
The developer bought an 11.78 acre site on the Cambridge Road, Bedford for an undisclosed sum from the Southhill Estate and has secured planing permission to develop a 240,000 sq ft warehouse. The developer will commence development shortly.
Phillip Ridoutt of Savills, said: “The site offers prime industrial land with excellent access to the M1, A1 and the surrounding areas making it the ideal location for IDI Gazeley.”
