SSI Schaefer supplies 19,000 trays
SSI Schaefer has supplied 19,000 plastic trays to Gebhardt European Conveyor Systems as part of a solution to handle component parts for a UK motor manufacturer.
The 70 kilo capacity trays are designed to support potentially unconveyable plastic and cardboard boxes and are the first of their type to be supplied by the manufacturer for use in the UK automotive market.
Two sizes have been supplied to Gebhardt to accommodate 800×600 mm and 1200×800 mm BDC containers.
Konecranes launches CXT NEO
Konecranes has launched the CXT NEO Crane. It is available configured as a single or double girder, or as an under-running solution. Power comes in the form of Inverter Hoisting technology that improves lifting speeds by up to 50 per cent.
