Panache Lingerie has implemented a multi-level omni-channel model, managed by Indigo WMS, covering over one million stock items, 11,500 individual SKUs and ensuring 98% stock availability.
The plus size lingerie firm exports to over 53 countries from its 54,000 sq ft warehouse in Sheffield and Paul Webster, logistics manager at Panache, said: “Indigo WMS has really increased our stock integrity levels. If we tell a customer we have an item in stock we definitely do, which is very good for customer satisfaction,”
Panache sells through retailers like Next, specialist lingerie boutiques and department stores, including Bravissimo, Selfridges and John Lewis as well as mail order specialists including JD Williams and Littlewoods.
Retail partners also sell Panache products online, with Panache being responsible for much of the e-commerce order fulfilment, drop-shipping directly to the customer. Panache also sells direct through its own e-commerce.
In order to handle the multi-level omni-channel sales process Panache has created multiple warehouse zones to support different omni-channel order profiles as well as reverse logistics.
“We have 98% stock availability, know exactly where every piece of stock is, where it came from, its age and when we need to re-order. Trying to do this for over 220 SKUs per file is a huge challenge and the functionality within Indigo WMS makes things very straightforward,” said Webster.
