Indurent has completed the first phase of its 1.05 million ft² regeneration of a former power station at Indurent Park Meaford in Staffordshire.
This first phase will deliver an initial c. 119,000ft² of industrial and logistics space.
Split across two units, the completed space has achieved an EPC ‘A’ rating and BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certification, with rooftop solar provision designed to support the decarbonisation of operations.
Indurent has also secured outline planning consent for future phases, including a c. 600,000ft² build-to-suit unit.
Development manager at Indurent Marcus Riley said: “The regeneration of Meaford Power Station will deliver significant benefits for the local economy.
“By repurposing a derelict site as high quality new warehousing, it will support the growth of the advanced manufacturing and distribution sectors.
“Planning consent is in place for extensive further development at Meaford, with on-site power secured, meaning the site is well-positioned to be a key employment hub for years to come.”
