JLL has launched the NXT i-Log digital property search experience for industrial, logistics and supply chain in the UK.
The tool supports companies in this active market – which is expected to grow by 40% over the next three years – and provides users with real estate search capabilities that can reduce the time previously spent on the deployment of a project by a third, through streamlining the search process and reducing travel.
NXT i-Log combines network study, data intelligence, data visualisation, simulation, and evaluation of options in real time, enabling companies to reassess costs and deadlines, whilst rethinking their future network and identifying the best locations for their business.
“The launch of NXT i-Log enables us to not only support our clients but also provide a dynamic solution for the market that combines supply chain, real estate and technology,” said Andy Harding, Head of UK Industrial & Logistics, JLL.
“It supports a rethinking of the way that businesses choose and adapt their real-estate strategy – saving time, increasing resilience and minimising risk, as well as the associated environmental impacts of traditional property searches,” continued Harding. “With the rapid growth of the logistics industry we have no doubt that NXT i-Log will prove to be a valuable tool for our team to use in supporting the many businesses that are both active in this space now and in the future.”
JLL’s NXT i-Log has launched in its London, Paris and Lyon offices. It is the first business to offer a logistics solution that integrates multiple data sources and follows on from the success of NXT Office. The solution, available in the NXT studio and remotely, will gradually be enriched throughout 2021 with various functionalities, such as the integration of a ‘sustainability’ module that will address all CSR questions.
