Phil Shepley, Vice President & Head of Commercial for the UK, Ireland, and South Africa at Iron Mountain, will be speaking at Logistics Manager’s ESG Industrial and Logistics Conference in London on 15 June 2023.
Shepley will discuss smart warehouses and whether they are effective as an initiative to help firms reach their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.
He will also speak about the way in which human labour leads to improved performance and lower operating costs, as well as the different components within a smart warehouse and what they can do to enhance a business’ ESG strategies.
Shepley joined Iron Mountain in 2020, having led outsourcing and service businesses for the last 20 years. His experience has been in the provision of services to the public and private sector with complex contract structures and joint ventures. This has required a collaborative development of partnership principles in these relationships, which has supported growth and success.
The ESG Industrial and Logistics Conference is a one-day face-to-face event that will allow industrial and logistics property tenants to learn how they can leverage their property to help them with their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies.
Conference attendees will discover all of the latest industrial and logistics property ESG trends and insights. On top of hearing from industry leading experts, there will also be opportunity for attendees to expand their business network during networking breaks.
Furthermore, the event offers attendees a total of five CPD hours – accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport – to keep up with their professional development.
