The first right-hand drive Iveco Eurocargo trucks will start arriving in the UK in the next few weeks following the truck’s launch last week.
Iveco targets the distribution market will the Eurocargo which covers the 7.5 to 18 tonne weight range.
Iveco offers a ready-bodied range with JC Payne box and curtainside bodies.
A 7.5 tonne new Eurocargo with one of these bodies starts from £36,995 under a launch offer which is only available for vehicles ordered before 31 December 2015 and registered within 180 days.
All 4×2 models will have a ZF automated EuroTronic gearbox as standard. Manual gearboxes and fully automated Allison transmissions, continue to be available as options.
There will be seven power ratings from 160hp to 320hp, 11 transmission options, 15 wheelbases from 2,790mm to 6,570mm, a choice of 4×2 or 4×4, plus an extensive range of final axle ratios.
A specialist conversion is available to increase maximum gross vehicle weight to 22 tonnes on select models.
Iveco achieve this by adding a single wheel lifting axle with servo-assisted hydraulic steering, making it particularly suited for distribution applications, yet without any impact upon vehicle manoeuvrability.
