Peter Jones has been appointed managing director of Briggs Equipment UK, moving from his previous roles as chief financial officer.
Jones joined Briggs in 2006 and played a significant role in the transformation of the business following its acquisition by Sammons Enterprises.
Prior to joining Briggs, Jones spent 14 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in both the UK and the USA.
Briggs International’s CEO Darron Ash said: “Peter has clearly demonstrated his strong leadership capability, vision for the business and passion for the Briggs UK team and its customers. The company’s interests are best served by leveraging the expertise and experience we already have within the UK business.”
