Cereal and snack giant Kellogg has confirmed it has agreed to take developer Bericote’s 525,000 sq ft speculative warehouse in Haydock, creating 70 jobs in a landmark deal as reported in Logistics Manager in December last year.
Haydock525, is located on bericote’s M6Major scheme in St Helens. The warehouse boasts 15m eaves, 56 dock, six Euro dock and eight level access doors as well as 162 HGV and 540 car parking spaces. It has 476,320 sq ft of warehouse space and 49,000 sq ft of offices including Pod Offices and two storey offices. It has an EPC A rating
The company will lease the giant warehouse to help with the delivery of brands such as Corn Flakes, Coco Pops and Pringles across both Britain and overseas.
It will be complement Kellogg’s existing operations, including factories in Manchester and Wrexham, and a UK head office in Salford MediaCity.

Kellogg will move into its Haydock site on 1 April 2020.
