The Kion Group is increasing capacity for Dematic, which it acquired last year, by expanding its site in Stříbro, Czech Republic.
The Kion facility will be extended with a new, 247,500 sq ft factory for conveyor systems.
“The factory is, at the same time, a sign of the huge progress that we are making on the integration of Dematic as a new member of the Kion family,” said Gordon Riske, chief executive officer, the Kion Group.
The company is to invest around €7 million in the factory – and it is expected to complete later this year.
