Thermote & Vanhalst (TVH), a Belgian supplier of parts for industrial and agricultural equipment, has selected Körber and Accenture to digitise its global network of warehouses.
Körber’s K. Motion Warehouse Management System (WMS) and K.Motion Warehouse Control System (WCS) will be implemented in 48 TVH warehouses across five continents.
Kris Thermote, Vice President of Logistics and Supply Chain at TVH, said: “The ability to rely on one provider for our supply chain technology needs was particularly important to us, which is what we found in Körber.”
He continued: “Paired with the implementation expertise of Accenture, we’re well-positioned to realise our growth ambitions and tap into new opportunities as they come up.”
TVH partnered with Accenture two years ago to modernise the company’s warehouses. Now, with the in-house WMS having ‘reached its limits’, the pair felt it was time to bring in a single provider to deliver modern and adaptable warehouse solutions.
Lyes Ould Hamouda, EU Warehousing Lead at Accenture, explained: “At Accenture, we really value our relationship with TVH to be a long-term partner. Our role is to build together the future foundation when we look at their roadmap and ambitions.”
She added: “As the implementation partner, we needed a robust technology solution to support this project plan, which Körber delivers.”
Körber Supply Chain Automation (Stand i1030) will be at IntraLogisteX on 28-29 March 2023 at the NEC Birmingham. For more information, visit www.intralogistex.co.uk.
