One hundred world leaders will be showing the very latest in technology at the Robotics and Automation Exhibition in Milton Keynes next week – including a host of launches and live demonstrations.
These are just some of the things to look out for:
UK LAUNCH: ELEMENT LOGIC
Element Logic, the original AutoStore partner, is exhibiting at Robotics and Automation just weeks after launching in the UK. Last month the company opened an office in Nottingham with Jeremy Clouston-Jones as managing director responsible for sales in the UK. “We are very proud to announce the opening of our office in the UK and with Jeremy onboard, we are convinced that we will get a strong development and that the UK will be important for our future growth”, said CSO Håvard Hallås.
“Our mission is to create logistic results that make our customers more profitable, by combining process know-how and long recognized experience with a wide range of solutions,” he said.
UK FIRST: GEEK+
Geek+, China’s number one supplier of warehousing and logistics solutions, is bringing its range of robotics products to the UK Robotics and Automation for the first time.
Since its foundation in 2015, Geek+ has shipped over 3,000 logistics and sorting robots and developed 10+ robotic products for more than 30 supply chain clients – all in less than three years.
PRODUCT LAUNCH: RED LEDGE
Red Ledge, the intelligent manufacturing and logistics systems control specialist has joined forces with advanced sortation company Böwe Systec and Stockrail International to launch a series of fully integrated and automated supply chain systems that improve user performance by an average 250 per cent, based on early reports from manufacturing and logistics industry users. The partnership will launch its new family of ‘Red Ledge Automated Manufacturing & Logistics’ systems at Robotics and Automation.
AFFORDABLE ROBOTS: AUTOMATA
Automata, the London based start-up, will be exhibiting Eva, its recently launched robotic arm. The company was founded in 2015 with the goal of bringing the next revolution in manufacturing by making it simple and affordable. Eva costs just £4,990 while robotic arms of similar size cost over £20,000.
LIVE DEMONSTRATION: SP TECHNOLOGY
SP Technology will be showcasing its brand new demo machine. It sasys: “The great thing about bespoke automation is that we can incorporate the latest technologies into our machines. The eXtended Transport System (XTS) from Beckhoff Automation combines the advantages of rotary and linear drive principles in a single system, opening the door to completely new ways of implementing compact and highly dynamic machine concepts.”
PRODUCT LAUNCH: BAUROMAT
Bauromat UK Limited are launching their all-new HiArc Compact the show,. The range of welding cells are ideal for an introduction into automation with prices starting from only £45,000. The HiArc Compact cell features 3 ABICORBINZEL Robotic products: ABIROB Torch System, TCS Compact Cleaning Station & the iROB Power Source.
