A-SAFE, the inventor and manufacturer of the world’s first fixed, flexible, polymer-based safety barrier system, has been showing visitors to Stand 435 at IntraLogisteX USA how its products can improve safety in the workplace.
Used in industrial workplaces across the world, A-SAFE barriers flex on impact from a workplace vehicle, absorb the impact energies, and then reform to their original state.
Amongst the products on show at Stand 435 is the Monoplex Bollard, a heavy-duty bollard which it says offers ‘unrivalled protection against everyday impacts’ and ‘ensures repeat performance without causing damage to itself, the flooring or the vehicles involved’.
Also on display is its Traffic Gate, which it says ‘ensures that all impact energy is deflected away from valuable operations, keeping employees safe and loading bays free from costly damage’.
Craig Galloway, new business development manager at A-SAFE, told Logistics Manager: “When you come to our stand, what you’re seeing is really the bread-and-butter of what we sell, our safety barriers, guard rails, bollards, rack guards, all types of safety equipment and protection that you’d see in a warehouse or a manufacturing facility that protect people, gear and everything you care about in your facility.”
On A-SAFE’s experience at IntraLogisteX USA, Galloway said: “It’s been good. The people that we’ve spoken to and the conversations we’ve had have been meaningful. We’ve met some good people and its been good for relationship-building. It’s been a good experience.”
He alluded to a kinship between A-SAFE and the IntraLogisteX brand, both having been formed in the UK and since grown around the world, coming together for IntraLogisteX USA this week in Miami, Florida.
