Mercedes Benz parent Daimler Trucks turned a 1bn euro loss in 2009 into a 1.3bn euro profit (EBIT) last year. Unit sales by 37 per cent to 355,300 vehicles and revenue increased by 31 per cent to 24bn euros

Volvo trucks has reported a 95 per cent rise in worldwide truck deliveries in January 2011, compared to the same month last year
