The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health has appointed Bibby Distribution’s Andrew Mawson as chair of its Logistics and Retail Group.
The role will fit alongside Mawson’s current position as head of safety, health, environment and quality at Bibby, and will see him steer a committee representing more than 1,300 IOSH members.
As Chair, Mawson will represent the sector on national HSE and industry committees, and develop webinars and events to share health and safety best practice. He will also launch IOSH’s first-ever Logistics and Retail Group Conference in 2020.
