Schmitz Cargobull’s newest fixed roof curtainsider model had its UK premiere after McGregor Logistics recently purchased 20 of the new trailers. The Doncaster-based company already has 30 other Schmitz curtainsiders in its fleet.
The trailers have wrap around curtains and new aluminium front bulkheads, with galvanized steel on the front and rear corner posts.
“We have been purchasing our trailers from Schmitz Cargobull for more than a decade now because they simply have the best build quality,” said Katy Williams, operations director at McGregor Logistics. “In addition, the trailers are lighter than their nearest competitor, which means an increase in payload on each journey.
“Our trailers also work hard, so the modular bolt-on, bolt-off design means they are extremely easy to repair if necessary.”
