Campbells Prime Meat, a provider of meat, fish and delicatessen products, has received 18 new temperature controlled vans from Ryder. The vans are 3.5 tonne Mercedes-Benz Sprinters, and are replacing existing vehicles in the company’s van fleet, which now totals 65 vehicles.
The new fleet will operate from the company’s site in Linlithgow, Scotland.
“Ryder has taken full charge of our maintenance schedule; its technicians pick up the vans and service them out of working hours, which minimises the risk of downtime,” said Stephen Sweeney, Campbell’s finance director.
