North-West based commercial real estate group, Network Space, has won outline planning consent for a 1 million sq ft logistics scheme in Worksop, Nottinghamshire.
The scheme is located between the Junction 31 of the M1 motorway and the A1/A57 junction. It is situated adjacent to the existing distribution centres of B&Q and Wilko. Phase one of the 130 acre site will see 60 acres planned and developed as an industrial/logistics scheme for B2 and B8 uses (general industrial, storage and distribution). The development will also include a new access from the A57 trunk road to service it.
The site will be offered on a design-and-build basis and will target occupiers seeking buildings from 50,000 to 1 million sq ft. It is expected to capitalise on the strengthening demand for large footprint logistics buildings in the North Midlands and South Yorkshire regions.
Sheffield based Commercial Property Partners (CPP) has been retained as letting agent. Another agent is expected to be appointed shortly.
