An 8.63-acre site is set to provide nearly 200,000 sq ft of industrial and logistics space in Peterborough, following its sale to specialist mid box developer Chancerygate.
The former Wren Kitchens site on Maskew Avenue has been vacant for a decade and is about two miles north of the town centre.
The scheme is expected to be developed through a joint venture partnership between Chancerygate and investor Bridges Fund Management.
It is thought the scheme will be built speculatively. George Dickens of Chancerygate said: “We specialise in speculative development and believe that the Maskew Avenue site is ideally placed for us to do what we do best by creating a mix of industrial, roadside and trade units which will attract investment and jobs to the area.”
