Robert Ross has been appointed chief executive of Xpediator, succeeding Stephen Blyth.
Blyth stepped down in June citing health concerns, with former chief financial officer Ross and chief operating officer for Logistics Romania Danor Ionescu will jointly covering the position.
Chairman of Xpediator, Alex Borrelli said: “[Ross] has shown since his arrival and in the last few months as joint interim chief executive that he is a very able operator with the strategic and financial perspective to head the business.
“He is comfortable with leadership and has excellent knowledge and experience of the transport and logistics markets in which we operate. So after a thorough process involving both internal and external candidates, we are very pleased to be able to appoint Robert and we look forward to supporting him in the next phases of the company’s development.”
A search for a new chief financial officer has begun.
