Clugston Group has appointed Glynn Thomas interim chief executive to take over from RJ Vickers who has resigned.
The group has interests in logistics, construction, facilities management and property development. Thomas has a background in construction, as well as facilities services, in both public and private sector organisations.
Vickers restructured the group and overseen changes to the senior management. Clugston said he had decided that the next phase of the group’s development required different leadership to take the group forward.
Chairman John Clugston, expressed disappointment that Mr Vickers had resigned, but is grateful for the positive contribution he has brought to the Group, wishing him well for the future.
* Clugston Distribution Services has launched a Global Logistics division to supplement its existing operations to provide a complete package of global supply chain solutions.
James Overfield, a long-standing member of the Clugston Distribution team, has been promoted to the position of Bulk Fuel Transport Manager.
And Matt Hales who joined Clugston Distribution in 2014 as a fuel planner, has been appointed as Quest (quality, environmental health safety and training) manager.
