Trammell Crow Company (TCC) has completed its first UK logistics scheme, a net zero carbon development on a 19.4-acre site in Milton Keynes.
The developer says that this scheme was “delivered as a net zero carbon development in accordance with the UK Green Building Council NZC framework and observing the latest 2023 UKGBC Offsetting Guidance, verified by Planet Mark”.
CORE Milton Keynes consists of three speculative logistics buildings measuring at 71,737ft², 46,490ft², and 221,775ft². Of the three units, two are conjoined and consequently can be leased to two occupiers or a single occupier.
Built to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standards and with an EPC ‘A’ Rating, CORE Milton Keynes has capacity to accommodate “full photovoltaic (PV) arrays and a base-PV installation”, LED lighting, and EV charging points, as well as “sustainable storage and discharging of rainwater”.
Mike Forster, Head of UK Logistics at Trammell Crow Company, said: “Just a year after achieving planning for our site in Milton Keynes, we’ve completed Trammell Crow Company’s first logistics development in the UK at net zero carbon.
“We’re well underway with our scheme in Sheffield now under construction and hope soon to secure planning permission at Heywood near Manchester. TCC’s momentum in the UK, as across Europe, is phenomenal and we fully expect to capitalise on it to secure further sites as we seek to become the country and the continent’s top developer.”
CBRE acted as the planning consultant for CORE Milton Keynes.
