CHEP has appointed Matt Quinn as vice-president for Northern Europe.
The new role will see Quinn leading the country leadership team for the UK and Ireland.
Quinn said: “This is an exciting time for the supply chain sector as retailers, manufacturers and logistics specialists collaborate to tackle challenges related to climate change, sustainability and how to make the circular economy part of global commercial culture.”
He previously joined CHEP in 2003 and in 2016 he became country general manager of CHEP India.
“The UK is an indicator market and was at the forefront of the industrial revolution,” said Quinn. “I believe we can now lead a supply chain revolution across the world. What enthuses me is the prospect of using our data, knowledge and assets to continue to modernise and transform the supply chain enabling our customers to be increasingly efficient, agile and sustainable.”
Quinn replaces Helen Lane who became CHEP’s senior vice-president, global digital and network transformation in July 2019.
