Nolan Group, the Ireland based haulier, has acquired John Raymond Transport Limited, saying it would help it continue to grow within the UK.
John Raymond was founded in 1953 specialising in transport, warehousing & distribution company with operating centres in Bridgend, Cannock and Swindon. The company operates 135 vehicles and 475,000 sq ft of warehousing.
Wexford-based Nolan operates 1,650 vehicles offering full and part load services, groupage and pallet services. It has offices in Rugby, Aylesford, Bridgend and Cherbourg, as well as New Ross in Wexford and Dublin.
It said: “This presents new opportunities for both businesses to complement each other and provide customers with other services and opportunities to further grow their businesses with us.”
