Northwood Urban Logistics and Chancerygate have secured three new lettings totalling over 35,000ft² at Bridgewater Point, Trafford Park in Manchester.
The largest of the three is Units 5, 6 & 7 let to Italian food and drink wholesaler Mammafiore, which has taken up 17,553ft².
This has allowed the business, which operates in five countries in Europe, to open its second hub in the UK.
International packaging firm Multivac has also leased Unit 16, a detached 12,576ft² unit at the development.
The German family-owned business provides packaging and processing solutions for businesses in the food, consumer goods and pharmaceutical sectors across 165 countries.
Hub Express, part of HiQ Tyres & Autocare (backed by Goodyear), has also leased Unit 3, which comprises 5,394ft² unit as it expands across the country. It is now in over 100 locations.
Bridgewater Point is a new-build, best in class urban logistics scheme located four miles from Manchester’s city centre.
The development, which is now 72% let, is a joint venture between developer Chancerygate and private equity firm Northwood Urban Logistics.
The enclosed estate offers excellent access to the M60 and strong connectivity to the UK’s national motorway network.
It was designed with sustainability at its heart with features such as photovoltaic panels and EV charging points, while it has also achieved EPC ‘A’ and BREEAM ‘Very Good’ certifications.
Bridgewater Point is at the centre of Trafford Park, one of Europe’s largest business parks that offers 9 million ft² of business space and is home to over 1,330 businesses employing 35,000 people.
