Online retailer Anything 4 Home has bought the 104,000 sq ft Fenton 104 warehouse in Stoke-on-Trent from specialist real estate investment and asset manager Catella APAM for an undisclosed sum.
The group is relocating from Birmingham to Oldfields Business Park where Fenton 104 is located. The facility is close to the A50/A500 dual carriageway intersection in Stoke-on-Trent, with Junctions 15 of the M6, approximately 3.5 miles away.
Knight Frank and Williams Sillitoe acted on behalf of Catella APAM,
Edward Kennerley, associate at Knight Frank, said: “Anything 4 Home had been looking for suitable freehold premises in Birmingham for more than two years.”
“There is a lack of freehold second-hand industrial property opportunities across the Midlands and we are seeing a number of owner occupiers that are willing to move cities in order to secure the freehold premises they need to grow their business.”
Anything 4 Home was established in 2007 and sells a range of products from beauty items to lighting, and from toys to stationery, from its online department store.
