Organic cleaning product manufacturer and distributor Organica UK has snapped up a warehouse in the North West to consolidate and expand its business.
The company has consolidated its operations from three buildings to one, taking property development and investment company Glenbrook’s 22,505 sq ft refurbished industrial building on Dock Road, Wallasey near Birkenhead.
It has signed a 6.5-year lease at £95,000 a year equating to approximately £4.20 per sq ft.
The company, which counts retailers including Marks & Spencers and Wilkinsons among its clients, has expanded to meet the increased demand from existing contracts and new contracts secured in the UK and overseas, some as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mark Diaper, associate director at Legat Owen, joint agents for the scheme with LM6, continued: “Despite the current challenges, the warehouse market is showing resilience with companies such as Organica seeing a significant upturn in demand for its goods.”
The letting was secured only a week after refurbishment works finished.
Organica was unrepresented.
