Palletways has opened a regional hub in Verona – its fourth in Italy.
There are some 30 Palletways Italia members situated in the Veneto region and the new hub means members no longer need to travel to the Bologna hub for collections and deliveries.
Rob Gittins, managing director for the Palletways UK, said: “This investment gives UK customers greater access to Italian markets and means that deliveries to central Europe are now even more accessible and cost-effective, enhancing our existing service.”
Palletways’ pan-European network it handles up to 45,000 pallets across Europe every day and cross border volume growth has grown by over 15 per cent in the last 12 months.
