Paragon has enhanced its routing and scheduling software to enable it to see in real time how vehicles operated by third party sub-contractors are performing against plan.
Changes to the route execution module now enable it to combine data from up to 35 different telematics systems.
“Logistics operations typically have little or no view of sub-contracted, one-way vehicle movements once they have left the warehouse, so it is almost impossible to alert customers to any unexpected issues or measure performance levels,” said support director Phil Ingham.
“We have developed an interface to enable multiple tracking feeds, so logistics operations can now take full advantage of third-party suppliers without losing visibility and control.”
