Pentland Brands has appointed Matt Rock as its new global supply chain director as part of a shake-up of the company’s management structure, with several other new appointments being made.
The company behind brands including Speedo, Kickers and Berghaus confirmed Rock’s appointment, alongside the appointment of Sean Hastings as global marketing director and Carl Davies as global customer director. All three have been appointed from within Pentland’s existing employee base and are taking on new roles created by the company to meet “ever changing needs of consumers and customers” according to CEO Andy Long.
Rock’s appointment will sees him leave his role as managing director of Pentland Brands’ lifestyle division. Marco Ellerker, current managing director for ellesse, Red or Dead and Kangaroos, will fill this vacancy.
“As a business we are committed to leadership development and succession planning, so I’m really pleased we have been able to make these appointments from our own leadership talent bank,” said Long.
With 25 years experience in the footwear industry, Rock (pictured centre) holds experience as sales director of Ted Baker footwear, and head of fashion sales for Puma. In addition, Rock is a board member for The British Footwear Association.
Long was appointed CEO in December, alongside new chairman Andy Rubin.
