Pharmaceutical distribution company Alloga UK, a member of Walgreens Boots Alliance, has agreed a pre-let deal on a 220,000 sq ft warehouse at Clowes Developments’ 120-acre Castlewood scheme in the East Midlands.
The facility will be in addition to one it already occupies at Castlewood. Work is anticipated to start in the next few weeks with practical completion due in the fourth quarter of 2016.
James Richards, development director of Clowes Developments, said: “Castlewood has been a hive of activity in recent time with a new unit of 100,000 sq ft for Parker Knoll due for practical completion in the next few weeks and work starting on site for a 30,000 sq ft unit for a local transport company. We then have further deals in solicitor’s hands and look forward to announcing additional occupiers to the site in the coming weeks and months.”
There remains a further 50 acre for development. Agents for the scheme are FHP and Savills.
