John K Philips Group has added six mega-trailers to its fleet – three double deckers and three single deckers.
The double deckers can hold 50 pallets, which the single deckers can take 30. The trailers are of a government trial to increase load volumes and reduce congestion, the new trailers feature steering axles which also reduce wear and tear on UK roads.
The company is part of the Palletforce network. John K Philips Group has always prided itself on maintaining an extensive modern fleet,” said customer service and network supervisor John Brotherton. “These trailers will make a significant impact on our distribution operations across the UK and Europe, as well as helping the company to meet its environmental responsibilities.”
