Torsten Pilz has been appointed vice president and chief supply chain officer at Honeywell where he will serve as company officer in the newly created position and report to CEO and chairman Darius Adamczyk.
Pilz has previously served as supply chain vice president at SpaceX and was vice president of worldwide operations at Amazon. He will take charge of the integrated supply chain, including procurement, to drive improvements in plant efficiency and working capital.
“Torsten has a track record over the past two decades of driving operational improvements and delivering outstanding results for a variety of companies with complex global supply chains,” said Adamczyk. “He is the right person to help Honeywell continue our transformation into a premier software-industrial company by simplifying our manufacturing footprint and enhancing our ability to execute with speed and precision across our operations.”
